- Hey Deb, yeah it sounds like you just need an adapter that goes into your hitch and lowers your receiver which would make loading and unloading your bikes much easier.
I'm not aware of any warranties being voided by using an adapter, as long as the adapter is RV rated and the rack is RV rated then you're good to go. You'd just need to let me know how what kind of drop you're needing and I'd be happy to take a look at what we have.

- I reached out to Thule and they still haven't had a chance to test fitment on a 2023. The Thule Elite Van XT # TH302043 has fit the MB Sprinter since 2006 so more than likely it will work with the 2023 model. You're welcome to order it and see if it works I just can't guarantee fitment until Thule gets one in to test.
If you aren't willing to test it and find out the only other option is to use a hitch mounted bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Destination # HLY94FR.

- Yes, the cold side of the brake light switch would be where you would need to splice into for the braking signal. While we don't have wiring schematics for your motorhome I do still have two options for getting the signal.
Option 1: You can use a hook & probe tester # PTW2993 and check each wire coming from the brake pedal until you find the one that only has power while the brake pedal is depressed.
Option 2: You can install the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000....

- If the trailer you plan on towing has brakes on it that would basically mean it's heavy enough that you are going to need to have the brakes operable which does require you to install a brake controller in your 2023 Sprinter.
So for that you'd want the Prodigy P2 brake controller part # 90885 as this is a very reliable and great performing brake controller and to install you'd only need the custom harness part # 3063-P which is a fit for your vehicle as well and plugs right into factory wiring.
